This CAM article features the recently upgraded and expanded former Rose Arena which is now a fully functional, quality entertainment venue. Our project team worked collaboratively with Owner representatives and the SmithGroup to overcome challenges like replacing bleacher seating with fixed chair-back seating and new retractable seating, building an addition onto the existing 30-year-old structure and adding air conditioning. The project is registered for LEED Silver certification and recycling efforts on the project included using salvaged wood from the existing bleachers throughout the facility and recycling scrap steel.
