Brothers John and Charles Clark, who led the transformation of a successful commercial construction business into one of the leading, most respected organizations in the industry, were inducted into the Michigan Construction Hall of Fame on October 20. The Clark brothers also received the Distinguished Constructor Award during the ceremonies, which were held at Ferris State University.
"I am honored and humbled to be recognized with these prestigious honors," said John Clark who serves as Clark Construction Board Chairman. "I have loved every day that I’ve worked in this business, and being inducted into the Construction Hall of Fame is icing on the cake."
"It is a privilege to be considered worthy of the Michigan Construction Hall of Fame," said Clark Construction CEO Charles Clark. "It is even more special to share this honor with my brother, John. Our father, Leon, also received this distinction posthumously in 2002, so this is a great honor for the entire Clark family."
