Scott Wilkins becomes Clark’s Newest LEED Accredited Professional

Clark Construction Company announced that Scott Wilkins has achieved the status of LEED Accredited Professional (LEED AP). In order to become a LEED Accredited Professional, Wilkins completed training and passed an exam evaluating his understanding of green building practices and principles and the LEED Rating System. Wilkins has 22 years of experience in the construction industry.

"The increasing demand for Green building projects heights the need for LEED certified professions like Scott Wilkins" said Clark Construction CEO Chuck Clark. "This along with our involvement in the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) demonstrates both our commitment to the environment and to quality of our work."

The Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Green Building Rating System™ promotes a whole-building approach to sustainability by recognizing performance in five key areas of human and environmental health; sustainable site development, water savings, energy efficiency, materials selection, and indoor environmental quality. The program is a part of the USGBC.
