STANDISH MAXIMUM SECURITY PRISON

This 440-bed prison is located on a 50-acre site with 30 acres of wetlands, surrounded by a double-perimeter, 16-foot-high fence. The six-building complex consists of five maximum security housing units, an administration building, food service facilities, educational building with a legal library, and flammable storage buildings. Due to exceptional management, Clark returned nearly $1 million to the State of Michigan in unused staff costs.
