Grand Ledge Public Schools
$69 Million Bond Program
Grand Ledge Public Schools undertook mid-Michigan's most complex K-12 bond programs during the late 1990s. There were eleven separate projects, including a 162,000 sq. ft. addition to the high school, renovations to the existing 134,000 sq. ft. high school, a new 56,000 sq. ft. elementary building, and district-wide technology upgrades. As the school district contains portions of three counties (Eaton, Clinton and Ionia) and eleven townships, excellent communication was vital to the success of the project.
“Your overall leadership has been instrumental in seeing that our project stayed within our budget constraints and was completed on schedule. We couldn't have picked a better construction management team!” — David H. Layle, (retired) Superintendent, Grand Ledge Public Schools
