Library Expansion
1995 CAM Design & Construction Showcase Award Winner
A vertical expansion added a fourth floor to MSU’s main library. Day-to-day use continued for the 40,000 student campus throughout the construction duration. The complexity of this project was further challenged by the need to protect the surrounding 120-year-old Beal Botanical Gardens, the oldest continuously operated university botanical garden of its kind in the United States.
