The new Regional Law Enforcement Center includes the construction of a new joint facility for the City of Marshall Police Department, the Calhoun County Sheriff’s Road Patrol Division and the Michigan State Police. This new multi-purpose facility will offer a controlled area for suspects and arrestees, enhanced privacy for customer service, a space for adequate training and education, as well as an expanded area for police forensic services to enhance criminal investigations.

The 10 acre green field site will be developed with the appropriate security, circulation paving, and parking, including covered parking. The project will also contain a storage building for police equipment.

The new Fire Station is a 5 bay, 12,000 sq.ft. building. The Fire Station will provide residential accommodations including:

  • Full service kitchen
  • Training rooms
  • Museum area for display of the first Fire Engine Marshall Purchased
