The intermodal aspect of this facility integrated all facets of the transportation network, including high speed passenger rail, city, regional and intercity bus systems, local and tourist shuttles, automobiles, taxis, limousines and airport connectors to Detroit Metro Airport.

The 12,500 sq.ft. facility is located on an 8-acre site and included 2 – 800’ platforms and a pedestrian bridge connecting the facility to the Henry Ford Museum.

The project incorporated features such as geothermal heating systems, photovoltaics and will be LEED Silver certified.
