The initial work required a massive amount of construction completed during the 2010 summer break.  The balance of construction was complete by September, 2011.  Scope of work included:

Symons Elementary School – Replaced roofing and windows, renovated staff and student toilet rooms, replaced fire alarm system, replaced mechanical/electrical equipment and installed technology infrastructure.

Paddock Elementary Schools – Replaced heating and domestic water piping throughout building, replaced fire alarm system, installed technology infrastructure, interior renovations and mechanical/electrical upgrades.

Milan Middle School – Replaced domestic water piping throughout building, replaced fire alarm system, installed technology infrastructure, interior renovations and mechanical/electrical upgrades.

New Addition to Milan High School – 22,280 sq.ft. addition to support integrated technology and science programs, expanded technology infrastructure  added stairwell lighting, increased electrical distribution to support maintenance and technology.

New Bus Garage – New  2-story, 14,339 sq.ft. pre-engineered building (11,739 s.f.first floor; 2,600 s.f. second floor); included maintenance bays, storage areas, office and support staff facilities.
