This is a renovation of a 98,754 square feet, single building that is 3 stories tall, originally built in 1928. The building is located in the Athletic Area on Campus. There are very tight site constraints with other buildings attached on the east and west along with the NCAA track that is directly south.
In general, the majority of the architectural, mechanical and electrical were removed and new systems were installed. There was a small amount of site work on the north side which included stair replacement, new ADA ramp and sanitary sewer tie. All of the windows in the building were replaced. The building is segregated into several areas by its different use and location. The different areas are:

  • North Elevation
  • South Elevation
  • Lower Level Area A (weights, fitness, racquetball courts and locker rooms)
  • Cardio Area
  • Lower Level Offices
  • Core Area on 1st, 2nd and 3rd floors
  • Gymnasium
  • Large Group Exercise
  • Roof
  • Mechanical Room
