The Clark Team at the Beaumont Health – Troy campus recently completed the steel erection for the new Powerhouse project. Three (3) large CAT generators – 1500KW and 2000KW – will be delivered later this month. They will be installed through the removable steel roof monitors that sit on the roof structure. The generator exhaust stacks are routed through an eight-story exhaust shaft in the existing Critical Care Tower. A 50,000-gallon underground storage tank will be installed after generator delivery and a (1425TN) Trane centrifugal water chiller will be delivered later this month as well.
Clark Construction recently completed the Topping Out of the structural steel for The Gathering Place project at Sparrow Health System’s main campus. The topping out beam had been staged in the main lobby of the hospital for patients, staff, visitors, construction workers, administration, and others to sign prior to its setting.
This completes the structural steel for the 4,000 sq.ft. two-story addition that will be dried-in by Thanksgiving. In addition, there is an additional 17,000 sq.ft. of renovation going on concurrently in the adjacent One South tower. Through topping out, there have been 10,000 manhours worked without a lost-time incident.
Officials from Sparrow Hospital and Clark Construction Company gathered Wednesday for the groundbreaking of the new Sparrow Health Center Lansing project. This project includes a new three-story medical office building on Sparrow’s East Grand River Avenue site.
Clark Construction Company recently broke ground at Sparrow Hospital for their Gathering Place Project. The project is located on Sparrow’s main campus and will be a modern and upscale dining area.
The project team assigned to it is: Dan Korte – Senior Project Manager; Ryan Doyle – Project Manager; Josh Pettijohn – Superintendent; Abhishek (Raj) Paniraj – Project Engineer.
